Someone’s been letting inmates out of Arkham Asylum…

In the months following the death of Harvey Dent, Batman, still a wanted fugitive, is pushed to his limits as a new crime wave hits Gotham. Batman’s search to find who’s responsible leads him to a showdown with the masochistic serial killer Victor Zsasz.

Meanwhile Gotham’s newest crime boss, a mysterious figure known as Scarface, has an meeting with Edward Nigma, an FBI agent, sworn to bring down Batman at all costs.

At the London 2012 Olympics, Russia’s Natalia Ischenko (nicknamed “Phelps in a skirt”) and Svetlana Romashina performed their synchronized swimming free routine to Goblin’s score from Dario Argento’s Suspiria (1977). They easily claimed the top spot with 196.800 points, leaving everyone else to battle for silver.

The above clip is from their routine at the qualifiers at Aquatic Centre, Olympic Park, London on April 20 2012.

Oli Frey did illustrations for various computer and gaming magazines in the 1980s and early 1990s. These include:

  • CRASH: dedicated to the ZX Spectrum home computer. It was published from 1984 to 1991 by Newsfield Publications Ltd until their liquidation, and then until 1992 by Europress Impact.
  • Zzap!64: covering games on the Commodore International series of computers, especially the Commodore 64 (C64). It was published in the UK by Newsfield Publications Ltd and later by Europress Impact. It ran from 1985 to 1992.
  • Amtix: monthly software review for the Amstrad computers. Published by Newsfield Publications Ltd from 1985 to 1987.
  • Sega Force: early 1990s publication that covered the Sega console range (Sega Mega Drive, Mega CD, Master System and Game Gear). Published by Europress Impact.

Stephen Colbert was featured in 2 episodes of Whose Line Is It Anyway alongside Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, and Wayne Brady. He was in Season 1 Episode 17 (February 24, 1999) and Season 8 Episode 9 (March 22, 2006). Although these episodes aired years apart, they were obviously filmed on the same day. The video above is a compilation of all the scenes that he appeared in.
