I spent some time experimenting with databending and I thought I’d share my results. Databending is a process where you intentionally corrupt data to induce glitches in an artistic fashion.
I started with this Network poster by James White :
I tried several different methods including hex editing, Wordpad, and Audacity. Here’s what I got:
